Responsibilities: The Senior Project Manager will lead the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) project that will develop the requirements and strategy to allow the Council to acquire and implement a comprehensive Council-wide Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solution. The solution will provide a fully integrated technology platform able to support full asset lifecycle management and align with organizational policy and process improvements to drive a more consistent, efficient, effective and strategically focused asset management capacity for the Council. This will be done within the framework of the Business Process Systems Integration (BPSI) program and consider the linkages and interactions with the other systems and processes being developed by the program. Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification - preferred/not required Project Management Profession (PMP) Experience leading high-budget, high-stake complex initiatives in organizations undergoing significant transformation Experience working on an initiative that is part of a larger program Prior experience working with cross-functional teams (software engineering, infrastructure, security, Data, etc.) Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies with the ability to tailor approaches based on project needs Experience working with cross-functional teams (software engineering, infrastructure, security, operations, etc.), ensuring alignment and collaboration across diverse stakeholders Understanding of change management processes, driving transformation initiatives while ensuring successful adoption by all involved parties. Have worked with Change Manager (OCM). Demonstrated experience working on Enterprise Asset Management projects and/or programs. Requirements: Drive planning, execution and tracking of all project deliverables. Coordinate the work of internal (stakeholders and Consultants) and external participants (vendors) to ensure successful completion of the projects. Responsible for managing the development and implementation of the project that require collaboration and coordination with various division within the organization as well as other projects. Manage project to successful completion ensuring that projects meet schedule, scope, cost and quality requirements as determined in the planning stages. Lead the Project resources throughout the lifecycle of the project, ensuring collaboration at the appropriate levels. Define roles and resources needed, assign responsibilities, negotiating to find skills needed. Communicate with project sponsors, program manager, change manager and stakeholders in all stages of the project through regular written and verbal communications to keep them updated on the progress and aware of next steps; provide project updates in front of large groups, including Senior Management. Collaborate with the other BPSI project managers and BPSI Program manager to identify how the EAM project will impact other projects. Extensive Vendor Management: Ability to review vendor's responsibilities per the SoW/contract and hold the vendor accountable. Negotiate with the vendor for new/change requests. Actively manage risks resulting from vendors interaction. Promote active communication and collaboration between the vendor and our org. Develop and administer the project budget in collaboration with the program managers and project sponsors.
