Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description
The person in this role will work as a dock worker and production associate to move empty and full tanks of chlorine either manually or with a forklift. They will assist in loading, unloading trucks, staging, shipping, and receiving of materials. The position will include helping in rebuilding valves for tanks that will eventually be filled with chlorine. Once rebuilt, they will operate a piece of equipment that presses and pressurizes the valve onto the top of the tank. Once they have a pallet of tanks complete, they will move them with a forklift to staging or shipping areas. Eventually, they will learn how to fill the tanks with chlorine. In addition, they will have to clean, prep, and remove old labels on the tanks.
Responsibilities
Move empty and full tanks of chlorine manually or with a forklift.
Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
Stage, ship, and receive materials.
Rebuild valves for tanks and operate equipment to pressurize valves onto tanks.
Move completed pallets of tanks with a forklift to staging or shipping areas.
Learn to fill tanks with chlorine.
Clean, prep, and remove old labels from tanks.
Essential Skills
Experience working in a production environment, GMP regulated preferred.
1+ year of forklift experience.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Must be able to follow instructions and take orders.
Must be safety-oriented.
Must be comfortable working with computers, printing labels, and assisting with shipments.
