Seeking a Full-Time Manufacturing Engineering Technician

Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineering Technician works closely with manufacturing engineers, quality, and manufacturing personnel to support and improve manufacturing operations. This includes troubleshooting equipment and process issues, performing time studies, supporting Lean manufacturing techniques, performing and documenting equipment maintenance, developing fixtures, and updating process documentation. The technician also assists manufacturing engineers with projects, builds or procures test equipment, and performs testing, including process validations.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues.

  • Perform time studies and support Lean manufacturing techniques.

  • Document equipment maintenance and develop fixtures.

  • Update process documentation.

  • Assist manufacturing engineers with projects.

  • Build or procure test equipment and perform testing, including process validations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Mechanically inclined individual

  • Intermediate (or better) proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Ability to perform all assigned tasks independently and complete work on schedule

  • Ability to follow manufacturing engineer’s direction while displaying cooperative and positive behavior with co-workers

  • Basic understanding and ability to read prints and schematics

  • Ability to develop and execute a detailed test plan

  • Strong problem-solving skills and efficient management of time and resources

  • Results driven

  • Learning orientation with training aptitude

  • Strong analytical and technical skills

  • Effective written and oral communication skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $58000.00

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Saint Paul,MN.
