Maintenance Technician
Offering $36 per hour
Job Description
The maintenance technician will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair steel plate and steel coil manufacturing equipment. Equipment includes plasma tables, overhead cranes, cutters, and slitters.
Responsibilities include performing general maintenance on plant equipment (lubrication, monitoring, repairing, PM’s & inspections) and informing the supervisor if additional resources are required. Additionally, the technician will be responsible for completing Work Orders, identifying potential equipment problems, and initiating improvement projects. Effective communication with Operators to ensure a constant and smooth flow of operations and to detect problems or concerns in the equipment is essential.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Work Environment
Industrial, very large warehouse that was built to be big enough to build war ships in. It is old school. The position is out of the elements; however, it is hot in the building in the summer and cold in the winter. The doors are constantly opening and closing, and the temperature cannot be controlled in the building.

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00
