Job Description

This position is contingent upon contract award, though we may elect to forward hire for the right candidate. MindPoint Group is seeking a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect. This exciting role requires an appetite for learning, superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to work in a highly collaborative work environment. You will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the total picture.

What you get to do every day:

This program requires expertise in various areas, to include security architecture, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, cloud security, and incident response. The contractor shall provide personnel who specialize in these areas and may serve as subject matter experts or have significant experience in one or more of these areas.

Relevant expertise or significant experience should be in one or more of the following areas:

  • Development and maintenance of cybersecurity operations plans, strategy, policy

  • Development and maintenance of supply chain/acquisition security programs

  • Development and maintenance of cybersecurity continuous diagnostics and mitigation programs and cybersecurity metrics programs

  • Development and maintenance of cloud architecture and security program

  • Oversight and governance of DevSecOps platforms, systems, and method

  • Incident and Contingency Response

  • Penetration Testing

Qualifications

Applicable US Government Clearance Required

What skills do you need?

  • Bachelor-s degree required

  • 5 years of documented experience and/or education in IT or cybersecurity

  • Experience providing cybersecurity technical advisory support to federal senior executives

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills that include the ability to describe highly technical concepts in non-technical terms

  • Must have at least one (1) DOD 8570 Level 1 certification for their respective area (i.e., IASAE I for Security Engineers) or the ability to obtain certification within six (6) months of onboarding.

  • This is an onsite position in Northern Virginia.

  • Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $130-160k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
