System Administrator

We are looking for a dedicated System Administrator to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of service and innovation.

Purpose of Position:

The System Administrator will share responsibility for computer operations, help desk support, network administration, backup, security management, user account management, email systems, internet, office systems, and applications support. This role requires an experienced and proactive individual with strong technical expertise, great customer service, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Maintenance: Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, networks, and computer systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Security Management: Implement and manage security measures to protect the bank's data and systems from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
  • Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Software Management: Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
  • User Support: Provide technical support to bank staff, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
  • Network Administration: Manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Compliance: Ensure all IT operations comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, help desk tickets, and troubleshooting steps.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, three years of experience in network maintenance and user technical support, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Windows Desktop/Server Environment required. Veeam, vSphere, Cisco Networking, Cisco Phones, Solar Winds, and Jack Henry/AS400 are a plus.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certifications, or similar are preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Previous banking experience a plus.
