Equifax, Inc. Quality Automation Engineer (SDET) in Saint Louis, Missouri

Quality Automation Engineer (SDET) for Equifax Inc. in St. Louis, MO, to develop scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks for testing software solutions. Specify and automate test scenarios and test data for a highly complex business by analyzing integration points, data flows, personas, authorization schemes and environments. Develop regression suites, develop automation scenarios, and move automation to an agile continuous testing model. Collaboratively taking part in all testing related activities while establishing partnerships with key stakeholders in Product, Development/Engineering, and Technology Operations. Develop Test Strategies and Plans in conjunction with App Engineering, Architecture and Prod Arch, including Data creation and management. Identify regression tests for future regression scenarios and assure creation of re-usable, automated tests. Influence Change Management, CI/CD, tools integration. Modify SDLC to assure proper adherence to Engineering Handbook (including Security). Execute all test cases, and detect defects early, execute post-deployment verification plans and record results and execute resilience testing plan and results. Generate code quality reports (SonarQube), put code through fortify scans via automation and will assure at least 80% Unit test coverage. Complete Web accessibility testing with no open violations for customer facing web interfaces (WCAG). Create test automation suite and design necessary documentation for automated processes and will shorten and amplify feedback loops to deliver products faster and with higher quality.

Requires: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus four (4) years of experience as a Quality Automation Engineer (SDET) or related occupation with experience in software QA automation or, alternatively, a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and two (2) years of experience as a Quality Automation Engineer (SDET) or related occupation with experience in software QA automation. Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): QA Automation experience in all phases: architect, design, and implementation; Programming languages: Java, C+, and Python; Cloud Technology experience such as AWS, Storage, Logging, Database, or Messaging; Automation tools: CA DevTest (CA LISA), QTP, SOAP UI, Selenium, PyCharm, Anaconda, or Jenkins; Leveraged observability tools including Datameer, Splunk, and Adobe Analytics for end-to-end performance monitoring and analysis; Creating load generation scripts and execution designs using HP Performance Center, and JMeter; and Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
