[The Member Services Associate is a front-line member/customer service role. Individuals must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. This is a position with growth potential for the right candidate. Prior chess experience - a familiarity with tournaments, ratings, and the industry - is preferred.   • Assist members with creating/renewing/troubleshooting membership records
  • Exercise quality control over membership database by logging change requests, returned mail and other updates
  • Comfortable answering and researching member inquiries, using the most appropriate communication method
  • Comfortable using a range of technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, CiviCRM, and other standard office tools
  • General office duties related to processing mail, receiving deliveries, and welcoming visitors to the office
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned
