Position Summary

The Manager, Enterprise Intelligence is a hands-on developer position with responsibilities to build reporting solutions aligned with corporate performance. This position requires a highly motivated individual who thrives on learning new skills, developing value-add data/analytics products for business partners, and a desire to coach and lead others on the journey. The Enterprise Intelligence team is responsible for the development of reports, dashboards, and visualizations that drive critical business decisions. As an analytics lead developer, this role will collaborate with business partners, data engineers, and other developers to design and build high-impact analytics products; they will also socialize and govern patterns of analytics/data development. As a manager, this position will participate in broader team management responsibilities, help manage CI/CD and release management processes, and have a critical role in the development of future analytics roadmaps and strategy.

Responsibilities

  • This is a hands-on development role primarily focuses on:

  • Managing a portfolio of advanced analytics use cases, proofs of concept, and experiments that advance Energizer’s analytics environment

  • Leveraging internal and external data to respond to requests for reports, dashboards, and visualizations

  • Modeling of data to meet business needs in line with overall data strategy

  • Collaboration with data engineers and data scientists to advance the entire team’s strategic goals

  • Perform root cause analysis on external and internal processes and data to identify opportunities for improvement and to answer business questions.

  • Work closely with subject matter experts and business stakeholders to identify, design, and develop efficient and high-quality analytics products.

  • Work with data engineering/science colleagues and project teams to operationalize ML models and integrate with analytics landscape.

  • Participate in the development of strategy and continuous improvement of analytics solutions that enable high quality certified dashboards, curated zones of data for analytics, and published data to other business consumers.

  • Manage work processes that support efficient project delivery, optimized workload management, optimal data structures, and data lineage transparency

  • Drive CI/CD processes and proper release management of new features and capabilities.

  • Reinforce adherence to established change management practices to ensure availability, performance and reliability of systems impacted by the change

  • 60% - Reporting, Analytics, and Dashboard Development: Key member of a team that develops and supports Energizer’s analytics suite of reports, dashboards, and data engineering applications.

  • 15% - Program Management: Acts as cross-functional strategic partner in aligning program resources and priorities. Translates data and analytics needs from business partners into executable programs and ensures successful implementation.

  • 15% - Coaching and Development: Communicates effectively as a leader to develop talent on the team to provide best-in-class capabilities. Meets regularly with team members and peers. Responsible for reviews and performance management.

  • 10% - Communication: Develops and presents to multiple levels of departmental leadership, cross-functional groups, peers, and functional groups of associates in support of special projects and strategic initiatives.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with advanced knowledge of analytics techniques, analysis of business processes, and reporting/analytic tools.

  • 3 years of experience in a lead role working with IT teams and business stakeholders to deliver large scale analytics solutions

  • 2 years of experience developing data analytics solution in cloud-based platforms (Azure, Google, or AWS)

  • Experience working on CI/CD processes such as Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, etc. and source control tools such as GitHub, etc.

  • Fluent in relational based systems and writing complex SQL.
