Job Title: Building Engineer/Facilities Maintenance Tech/Supervisor

Job Description

Facility Maintenance Supervisor

  • Plan, organize, assign, direct, and control activities of 2-6 maintenance technicians under the direction of the Maintenance Director

  • Manage CMMS system

  • Coordinate with vendors

  • Coordinate with other facility operations departments (janitorial, grounds keeping, construction)

  • Speak on behalf of the department when needed

7:00AM to 3:30PM Monday through Friday. Must be willing to respond to emergencies or work up to 16 hours in the event of emergencies or special projects.

Important information:

  • Must be able to "hit the ground running"

  • Seeking real building maintenance experience

  • Their single most important task will be managing work orders according to their new SOP:

1) Receive work order

2) Inspect work order in person and meet with client

3) Lead technicians in completion of work order (targeting same day resolution)

4) At COB, review issued work orders and plan next day accordingly

  • Must be able to meet with technicians at least twice a day to make sure they are on task and getting the help they need

Hard Skills

  • At least 5 years of high-level facility maintenance and management experience

  • Experience managing CMMS systems

  • Vendor coordination

  • Experience with janitorial, grounds keeping, and construction operations

  • Problem-solving skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Saint Louis, Missouri.
