Description We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity in the manufacturing industry for an Accounting Clerk in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri. In this role, you will be integral to our team, primarily handling Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and inventory accounting tasks. This role requires you to be onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.

• Assist with inventory accounting tasks, which forms a significant portion of the job.

• Apply your skills in Account Reconciliation to ensure all financial records are accurate.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and other accounting tasks.

• Handle customer inquiries relating to their accounts.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on their status.

• Maintain customer credit records with utmost accuracy.

• Use Automated Inventory systems to manage inventory records.

• Ensure that all customer applications are processed efficiently. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficient in Data Entry

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills

• Experience with Automated Inventory

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

• Prior experience in an accounting clerk role preferred
