CITY OF ST JOSEPH Video Evidence Technician in SAINT JOSEPH, Missouri

This involves reviewing BWC | | videos, redacting the video for Freedom of Information | | Act (FOIA) and Missouri Sunshine Law requests. The technician will | | also assist the Public Network Systems Administrator with basic IT | | support on Police Department radios, computers, and other equipment | | as time allows.No supervisory responsibilities. Minimal budgetary | | responsibilities. | | | | | | Essential Duties and Responsibilities | | | | | | | | - Provides support for BWC and ICV Systems and software. This | | includes working with the departments vendor(s) to maintain | | system and equipment updates. | | - Maintains the video management system. | | - Reviews the video for procedural compliance. | | - Reviews and redacts video for FOIA and Sunshine Law requests. | | - Works with prosecutors on providing access to video for | | prosecutions. | | - Assists with basic IT on police department computers as needed. | | - Assists with programming and software updates for Police | | Department radios as needed | | | | | | | | Other Duties and Responsibilities | | Performs all other related duties assigned. | | | | | | Employee Behavior and Conduct | | City employees shall conduct themselves in a professional manner and | | shall exhibit and extend such professional conduct appropriate for | | the circumstances to those with whom they come into contact both | | internally and externally during the performance of their duties. | | Examples of professional conduct include, but re not limited to, | | being communicative, informative, fair, honest, and respectful. | | | | | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
