Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist specializing in plastic parts manufacturing for military and government contracts. The successful candidate will be skilled in operating Haas Mills and proficient in CAD software, specifically Fusion 360. The machinist will be working in a small team at a climate controlled manufacturing facility in Saint Augustine, FL. This is a direct-hire position with full benefits, PTO, and long-term employment.

Job Overview:

• Job title: CNC Machinist

• Location: Saint Augustine, FL

• Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm (possible overtime)

• Pay: $25-$26/hr (based on skills/experience)

• Operate Haas Mills to manufacture plastic parts

• Transfer files from Solidworks to appropriate machines

• Set up machines for production runs

• Utilize CAD software such as Fusion 360 for programming

• Apply knowledge of G and M codes in machine operations

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of CNC Machinist experience.

• Proficiency in operating mills and lathes

• Expertise in using Haas Mills

• Experience operating Laser Engraver machine is a plus

• Knowledge of CAD software, particularly Fusion 360

• Ability to transfer files from Solidworks

• Familiarity with G and M codes

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
