Position Overview:

Oversees staff and processes related to contracting operations. Duties may include end-to-end contracting, sourcing, data analysis, compliance, training, supply chain technology administration and staff mentoring. Translates manager instructions into work assignments for subordinates or other individual contributors. Implements or maintains processes that create efficiencies, trains team to reduce errors, minimizes non-value-added work, and delivers timely execution of contracts. Builds professional relationships between staff, leadership, peers, and vendors. Delegates projects and tasks in conjunction with system-level managers to promote an efficient, cost-effective process that meets the long-term vision of senior leaders. Builds strategic partnerships and articulates objectives to a wide variety of key stakeholders. May act as backup for system-level managers for projects or absences.

Job Description :

EDUCATION:

  • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

Bachelor's: Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

  • 8 years recent relevant experience

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE :

A critical thinker with ability to analyze complex situations and committed to continued improvement in contracting operations.

Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively to accomplish tasks at hand within the timelines.

Demonstrated ability to work in a professional, multi-disciplinary team as a group leader, facilitator, and/or participant.

Creative problem-solver with a demonstrated ability to communicate specific barriers to the contracting process with recommended solutions.

Demonstrated oral and written communication skills that are concise and actionable.

Proficient in the use of all aspects and software provided in the Microsoft Office suite including, PowerPoint and Visio.

Ability to run analytical reports to determine historical usage using Lawson and other Supply Chain tools.

Knowledge of legal terminology

Advanced financial analysis skills

Pay Range is $53.59 to $80.39 / hour. For: Washington Pay Range is $53.59 to $80.39 / hour. For: Penn, Nevada, Oregon States Pay Range is $48.24 to $72.36 / hour. For: Idaho Pay Range is $42.88 to $64.32 / hour.

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
