About the Role:

As a Sr Programs Manager within the People Strategy, Programs and Enablement team, you will act as a force-multiplier focused on increasing execution efficiency and delivering excellent programs and projects that help the company scale. Reporting to the Director, you’ll serve as a centralized resource for the People and Places function and partner closely with all of our centers of excellence, as well as, cross-functional stakeholders.

In this role you will drive projects and programs in support of our overall strategy, transformation, and enablement of the business. As a ‘go-to’ person, you will be instrumental in guiding the seamless transition from big picture to details while navigating tight timelines. You will facilitate cohesive collaboration within and across organizations by providing operational discipline, identifying and mitigating dependencies and risks, and forging strong relationships through effective communication.

What You Will Do:

  • Drive planning processes by leading conversations with key stakeholders to develop concepts into defined deliverables and ensure execution reliability.

  • Continuously improve and scale the People organization by sharing project frameworks, tools, and best practices that can be easily adopted to increase delivery efficiency.

  • Lead and manage complex and large scale cross-team, cross-functional initiatives from inception through deployment including defining scope and execution milestones.

  • Proactively evaluate and resolve obstacles and balance competing priorities through fluid communication with project stakeholders.

  • Engage and energize project teams to achieve aggressive goals.

  • Leverage general knowledge to conduct simple analyses and establish performance metrics.

  • Solicit and evaluate feedback to determine appropriate actions, solutions and initiatives needed.

  • Create and deliver clear and detailed documentation and presentations for complex projects.

What You Will Bring:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in HR Program and/or Project Managemen

  • Strong project/program management skills and ability to manage competing priorities without losing sight of the most important initiatives

  • Practical working knowledge and experience in human resources with at least one full deployment project leveraging key HR systems (e.g. HCM/HRIS, LMS, ATS, etc.).

  • Demonstrable experience in analyzing business needs and aligning them to project execution and KPIs.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to be able to influentially drive alignment among stakeholders while ensuring execution accountability across teams.

  • Deductive problem solving for moderate to highly complex problems; some limited data analysis may be required.

  • Proven ability to clearly document and articulate goals, requirements, timelines, resources and risk within and across cross-functional teams.

At Confluent, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry standards. We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location. This position has an annual estimated salary of $126,500 - $148,680, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package.
