Robert Half Plant Controller in Sacramento, California

Description

Lisa Cole with Robert Half is looking for a diligent Plant Controller to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in Sacramento, California. This role will be instrumental in driving financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, while also assisting with quarterly, annual, and long-term plans. The position will require close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as sales, procurement, estimating, and operations to promote growth and profitability. Responsibilities

• Facilitate financial planning and forecast processes, including quarterly, annual, and long-term plans that align with strategic objectives.

• Collaborate with Sales to generate proactive ideas to expand business and develop forward-thinking long-range planning analysis.

• Ensure monthly financials are presented accurately and timely and analyze the P& L and operational practices to recommend cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiencies.

• Conduct product manufacturing, cost, and ROI analyses, interpret results and trends, and identify areas of improvement impacting sales, gross margin, operating profit, cost savings, working capital, and depreciation of company assets.

• Control inventory and safeguard company assets, ensuring the accuracy of local inputs/transactions and financial statements.

• Partner with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement processes and savings tracking.

• Prepare presentations, detailed analysis, and operating metrics packages for both local and executive leadership.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field

• 7+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Demonstrated ability to handle all Accounting Functions

• Extensive experience with Budget Processes

• Proficiency in Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Cost Accounting, and Standard Cost Accounting
