Description

Lisa Cole with Robert Half has an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Supervisor for a company located in Sacramento area. As an Accounts Payable Supervisor, your main role would be to oversee monthly accounting for Accounts Payable, provide training to new employees, and manage weekly AP aging reports. The ideal candidate will have experience with managing a small to medium size team and have strong experience with Accounts Payable. Responsibilities:

• Oversee monthly accounting activities for Accounts Payable.

• Provide training and guidance to new employees in Accounts Payable.

• Review weekly Accounts Payable aging reports.

• Ensure timely payment of all Accounts Payable.

• Assist accounting staff in resolving payment application questions and problems.

• Develop or revise reports as needed.

• Supervise and guide Accounts Payable staff.

• Support annual and other audits.

• Manage and monitor credit card issuance.

• Interpret and communicate company policies and work procedures to staff.

• Develop or update procedures, policies, or standards.

• Develop work schedules according to budgets and workloads.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures

• Familiarity with Dynamics Ax software

• Previous experience in a supervisor role in an Accounts Payable department

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
