Description

Lisa Cole with Robert Half is currently partnering with a growing company that is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the team. This position requires someone with full-cycle Accounts Payable experience, focusing on accurate and efficient invoice processing. Responsibilities:

• Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.

• Process invoices using the construction accounting software.

• Act as the direct line of communication with vendors on existing and new accounts.

• Reconcile monthly vendor statements, investigate, and correct any discrepancies.

• Assist with monthly close processes and prepare related reports.

• Process and maintain 1099 statements and annual filings.

• Maintain accurate and organized vendor files.

• Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process.

• Work with internal teams to resolve any invoicing issues.

• Ad-hoc duties as required by the financial team and management.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in the construction, service or engineering industry.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Keen attention to detail and an ability to effectively multi-task.

• Maintain confidential information at all times.
