Description

Emily Krous at Robert Half is working with a client offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Clerk based in Sacramento, California. The successful candidate will be involved in various finance and accounting processes, including managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and assisting with financial reporting. This role is set within the telecom industry and requires a high level of organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments

• Verify and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports

• Maintain vendor records and handle vendor inquiries

• Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and payment collections

• Support payroll processing by preparing and verifying payroll data

• Assist in month-end closing activities and financial reporting

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

• Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and resolve discrepancies

• Maintain confidentiality of financial information

• Utilize accounting software, such as Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel, for various accounting tasks and data entry.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Solid experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proven track record in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
