Job Overview:

Tech Services provides solutions to problems in the Tech Services discipline without supervisory approval and will evaluate and select solutions from established operating procedures and scientific procedures.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to the onshore construction team by troubleshooting hardware and software issues, identifying technical problems and implementing practical solutions

  • Ensure high availability of IT infrastructure for all onshore construction projects

  • Conduct regular system audits to ensure security and compliance with industry regulations

  • Manage and maintain local networks, firewalls, and routers

  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure

  • Create and maintain hardware and software inventory

  • Provide training and support to end-users on IT systems and protocols

  • Work with the project management team to ensure successful delivery of IT projects

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

  • At least 5 years of experience providing IT support in the EPCI industry

  • In-depth knowledge of EPCI industry-specific software and applications

  • Experience with industrial network design and configuration

  • Certification in any of the following: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or ITIL Foundation

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

  • Willingness to travel to various job sites for on-site support
