Rye Country Day School Adjunct Upper School Musical Choreographer in Rye, New York

Rye Country Day School is seeking an Adjunct Upper School Musical Choreographer beginning in mid-November, 2024, until the end of February, 2025. Rye Country Day School is a coeducational, Prek-12, college preparatory school located in Westchester County, New York dedicated to providing students with an excellent education using both traditional and innovative approaches. Responsibilities:

  • Attend weekly rehearsals 3:30-5:30 pm Monday - Friday.

  • Attend tech weekly rehearsals from 3:30-8:30 during the last two weeks of the winter season.

  • Choreograph all the numbers for the US Musical, Head Over Heels

  • Collaborate with the Theatre Director, Musical Director, Technical Director, and Costume Designer.

  • Attend weekly production meetings virtually or in person leading up to the performance.

  • Attend weekend tech rehearsals during the last two weeks before the performance.

Hours

  • Rehearsals, Monday - Friday, 3:30-5:30, approximately 10 weeks

  • Tech Rehearsals, 3:30-8:30, approximately 2 weeks

  • Weekend Tech Rehearsal, TBD, approximately 1 weekend
