Cisco Technical Business Systems Analyst - Data ONSITE Raleigh 1421085 in RTP, North Carolina

What You’ll Do

Cisco’s Service & Logistics IT team is changing the way we run Service Supply Chain operations by enhancing the power of technology using the best of business processes and superior data insights. Together, we will re-imagine the Cisco experience for our customers & partners, develop ground breaking industry processes, and use the future of the Internet to showcase Cisco to our people, products, processes, systems, and data. As an analyst you’ll:

  • Work with business operations team to understand & document product requirements

  • Analyze and develop a map of systems impact

  • Resolve data impact and associated upstream & downstream impacts

  • Works with the engineers to implement documented requirements

  • Develop test cases to validate developed products / modules

  • Support end-to-end & user acceptance testing (triage case, figure out validity of defects raised etc.)

  • Support launch activities (validate product readiness post deployment)

  • Develop knowledgebase articles to ensure smooth production operations

Who You'll Work With

Be part of the Service & Logistics engineering team that works closely with multi-functional IT & Business teams to analyze & develop solutions to automate several of the sophisticated processes. As part of this team, also be working with several senior management people, non-IT multi-functional partners, engineers, architects, Quality assurance and technology partners/vendors.

Who You Are

A strong collaborator and determined self-starter who will take initiative and work all tasks and initiatives with minimal guidance. A deeply passionate technical analyst, that translates business needs into technology solution definitions, who loves to self-develop innovative solutions on newer technologies and fearlessly experiment to be at par or beat industry standards. With an excellent written & verbal communication skill and analytical skills, collaborate optimally by listening to peers & partners, driving common ground through influencing skills and teaming with all to find the best possible solution.

Minimum requirements

  • Masters in computer science or equivalent a minimum of 5 years industry experience or Bachelors in computer science or equivalent with a minimum of 7 years industry experience

  • Demonstrate a solid grasp and insight into effective business management and operations.

  • Knowledge of Business Process Modeling Notations 2.0 standards

  • Deep understanding of control flow diagrams and workflows

  • Willingness to work on new technologies related to Cloud integration.

  • Knowledge of Visio

  • Knowledge of common commands in UNIX / Linux systems

  • Exposure to microservices concept

  • Knowledge of Oracle database technology

  • Microsoft Office

Preferred requirements

  • Knowledge of development in JAVA, Python, Angular, or React JS

  • Knowledge of any other process modeling tools, notations and UML

  • Experience in application of SIPOC for process development

  • Experience in a non-technical business facing role

  • Ability to explain complex systems design in terms of business flow
