Job Title: Junior Civil EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a Junior Civil Engineer to join our multidisciplinary consulting firm in South Florida. The position involves civil engineering, land planning, drafting assignments, project research, engineering calculations and reports, and construction inspections. The ideal candidate will be familiar with water, sewer, paving, drainage, stormwater management, site engineering, and various engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform civil engineering and land planning assignments

• Conduct project research and engineering calculations

• Prepare engineering reports

• Carry out construction inspections as directed

• Utilize AutoCAD and MicroStation for design tasks

• Perform site inspections and manage site civil projects

Essential Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering

• 0-4 years of experience in civil site projects, land development, or transportation engineering

• Knowledge of civil engineering concepts, practices, and procedures

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

• Engineer Intern (E.I.) or the ability to obtain within one year

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in site civil projects and land development

• Interest in broadening engineering experience

• Ability to conduct inspections and work on-site

• Preferred 1 year of on-site experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00
