*Description: *Our client, is looking for an Inventory Specialist in their NW Detroit location. Inventory associates are responsible for overseeing industrial repairs and logging inventory, working with company supply chains to make sure that inventory is accurate, on shelves and well-stocked. They are record keepers for materials, report creators and supply trackers. Inventory associates, also known as auditors or material recording clerks, work with company supply chains to make sure that inventory is accurate, on shelves and well-stocked. They are record keepers for materials, report creators and supply trackers. The successful candidate will be working from a desk, but will need to be comfortable in the warehouse to ensure reporting is accurate. This position requires the use of computer databases, excel and tracking systems, as well as handheld scanners.

*Pay: *17.25/hr

*Qualifications: *An ideal candidate will possess the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Inventory experience 
• Ability to use computer systems like Excel, Databases and Handheld scanners
• Math skills a must
• Great customer service and communication skills
• Shipping/Receiving background
