Inventory Control Clerk

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Track inventory and stock changes.
  • Oversee inventory control processes.
  • Manage deliveries efficiently.
  • Inspect inventory for accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain inventory records and order products as needed.
  • Reconcile and report inventory levels and issues to management.
  • Identify and address any discrepancies in inventory.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Create reports detailing available inventory and any issues.
  • Assist in developing policies to ensure efficient inventory control and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and logistics teams to optimize procurement and transportation processes.
  • Utilize forklift for moving products as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
  • Forklift experience preferred (or ability to gain certification).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with inventory management software or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of inventory principles, concepts, and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability tolift upto 50 lbs.and stand for extended periods during physical inventory counts.
  • Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Basic math skills.
  • High school diploma or GED.

8-12 hour shifts 6:00 am - 6:00 pm $16.00 per hour
