Penske Automotive IT Support Technician in Round Rock, Texas
Penske Automotive Group dealership is looking for an IT Support Technician to join our team in Round Rock, TX and help support the infrastructure of our technical organization.
The IT Support Technician provides local representation of Penske Automotive Group's IT department at the dealership level. This position performs a variety of IT related tasks including; acquisition, installation, and maintaining, of personal computers, VOIP and network connections.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
3+ years of IT field or related experience
Knowledge of:
Microsoft Operating Systems and Cloud Products
LAN/WAN networks, VOIP systems
Point of Sales and Credit Card Systems
Ability to walk, stand, and handle moderate to heavy equipment; able to lift up to 50 lbs
Reliable transportation to travel between dealerships
Assist with IT system installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
Support onboarding, systems access, and technology facility maintenance
Collaborate with Corporate IT to manage and prioritize dealership IT activities and projects
Plan and coordinate IT projects, including equipment moves and construction, involving vendors and telecom providers
Proactively address IT needs, resolve issues, and escalate critical concerns
Ensure vendor responsiveness and follow up on service events for satisfaction
Maintain compliance with corporate policies and support third-party/manufacturer tech requirements
Other duties as assigned

Strong interpersonal, analytical, oral and written communication skills needed
Ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of management
Thorough understanding of company operations and departmental procedures
Ability to prioritize a wide variety of tasks with limited supervision or direction
Willingness to continue to grow through outside and in-house training classes
