Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Overnight

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the production equipment of the facility. They will perform mechanical duties such as repair and preventative maintenance on pumps, valves, conveyors, sprockets, and gear boxes.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment including pumps, valves, conveyors, sprockets, and gear boxes.

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including PLC controls, 480V equipment, and 3-phase motors.

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to diagnose and fix equipment issues.

• Conduct welding and fabrication as needed for equipment maintenance.

• Work within a 24/7 manufacturing and production facility, specifically during the night shift with rotating days and 12-hour shifts.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with PLC control systems.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Experience with preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs.

• Knowledge of electrical systems, including 480V and 3-phase motors.

• Skilled in welding and fabrication.

• Strong troubleshooting skills in an industrial maintenance environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of work experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in the food industry.

• Experience repairing pumps, valves, motors, conveyors, sprockets, and gear boxes.

• Proficiency with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is a 24/7 manufacturing and production facility. The current need is for the night shift, which operates on rotating days with 12-hour shifts from 6 PM to 6:30 AM or 6 AM to 6:30 PM. The facility requires adherence to safety protocols and may involve working in varying temperatures.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $70720.00/yr.
