Position Purpose and Summary:

· The Senior Strategist plays a crucial role in enhancing organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Responsible for identifying areas of improvement within existing processes, analyzing data, and gathering requirements for enhancements. Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to design and implement efficient workflows, ensuring successful process changes.

· Work with Logistics leaders to schedule optimization events that align our resources with organization deliverables. This will include leading implementation on critical projects as assigned and represent the optimization team as a conduit for Service team inquiries regarding routing solutions (outside of a normal route optimization event).

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: List the principle on-going responsibilities that are necessary to accomplish the purpose of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Optimization Senior Leaders to establish process design enhancements to improve project effectiveness and speed with network and route optimization events.

  • Lead the pre-optimization market center analysis, including the formal review with Optimization and Market Center team Leadership, with a focus on summarizing risk areas and suggested implementation modifications to mitigate risk.

  • Analyze and provide strategic guidance to the optimization team utilizing post event survey data. Establish a method of communication, schedule, and deliver result summary to key stakeholders.

· Administer network and route optimization schedule to effectively utilize engineering and implementation analyst resources; align project frequency to achieve company savings objectives.

  • Optimization team conduit for Service team inquiries regarding routing solutions (outside of a normal route optimization event).

· Provide project implementation support for high-risk and complicated events, which will include leading events and assisting Route Execution Analysts as necessary.

· Monitors trends and reports to management any on-going or reoccurring issues around delivery and fleet operations.

· Reviews reports and dashboards for anomalies and identifies negative business trends in need of attention.

· Engage and support team collaboration.

· Identify and implement supply chain initiatives to support corporate strategies and goals.

· Creating and driving performance KPI, metrics and execution compliance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams. Effective communication is essential for presenting strategies, gaining buy-in, and implementing changes.

  • Experience leading teams, managing projects, and implementing strategic initiatives is beneficial. Ability to oversee optimization projects from inception to execution.

QUALIFICATIONS: Describe experience, education and related course work typically required or expected to perform essential job functions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4+ years’ progressive experience in complex supply chain and logistics operations.

  • Extensive knowledge of network optimization (including sophisticated and robust modeling tools)

  • Proven operational and technical expertise of network optimization.

  • Excellent analytic and data skills in developing actionable KPIs and metrics around service and cost.

  • Analytics approach to problem solving and a passion for delivering excellence to our customers.

Compensation: The salary rate for this position ranges from $73,000 to $100,000, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.
