Job Title: ScientistJob Description

This position’s main tasks will include developing subject matter expertise of product and biomaterial characteristics via planning, conducting, and formally documenting an array of analytical test methods, serving as a point of contact internally and externally to effectively achieve shared project goals, providing professional project-specific guidance to scientific staff, and supporting a wide range of research and development activities. Responsibilities include: - Planning, developing, and writing study protocols for various aspects of product characterization - Executing and documenting experimental activities with troubleshooting as needed - Performing data analysis, and generating and reviewing reports and presentations to review project metrics - Training and supervising junior scientific staff members on laboratory-based tasks and assays - Maintaining and managing relationships with internal and external partners, including coordination and communication of activities and timelines - Completing required training assignments to maintain necessary technical skillsets and expertise to ensure compliance with cGTP/GMP requirements - Adhering to all policies and practices from the Quality Management System (QMS) based on applicable company and regulatory standards - Supporting and improving research capabilities in a cross-functional team setting

Hard Skills

  • BS required, MS or PhD is a nice to have

  • Experience leading others

  • Experience managing projects

  • 2+ years of experience in academic labs or industry

  • Pipetting skills

  • ELISA assays

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Roswell, Georgia.

Work Environment

This role supports a portion of the company that is doing work for their partners. Will not be doing company work. Supporting a CRDO - contract research and development organization. Flexibility in hours: M-F 7a-4p / 8a-5p.
