Description

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Medical Front Desk Coordinator for our growing health care client. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming and efficient environment for patients while overseeing administrative tasks related to patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors, identify their needs, and direct them accordingly.

• Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and maintain and update patient records.

• Oversee patient admission and discharge procedures.

• Collect patient data and ensure the accuracy of patient records.

• Manage billing procedures, including insurance verification and payment collection.

• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area.

• Coordinate front-desk staff to ensure smooth operations

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required. A degree in a relevant field will be considered an advantage.

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a healthcare setting.

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare operations, and EPIC healthcare software.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to remain professional and courteous at all times.

• Ability to work well in a team and also perform efficiently under minimum supervision.

• Comfortable handling conflict and stress in a diplomatic and composed manner.

• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks based on importance.
