Join Southern California Edison as Principal Manager, HR Operations and Compliance and help us build a better tomorrow. In this job, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our HR organization to enable operational excellence and support our strategic objectives. Reporting directly to the Director of People Operations, you will lead key enterprise and operational areas within HR, driving initiatives that enhance employee experience, optimize service delivery, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
Develop a strategy and approach for the annual HR business plans, goals, and budgets to achieve company/department financial objectives and requirements.
Identify potential risk and discrepancies with budgeting and resource capacity.
Lead the HR Project Management Office focused on strategic initiatives and complex, multi-year projects within HR and across functions. Evolve and manage the HR project prioritization and decision-making structure.
Be customer-obsessed in designing and delivering HR services for employees. Evaluate, develop, implement, and modify service delivery processes.
Build and enable strategies that have enterprise-wide impact to ensure continuous improvement through optimization, automation, innovation, consolidation and standardization of HR processes within the People Operations function.
Lead and evolve the Human Resources compliance function by designing and implementing a compliance framework including policies, practices, and ongoing governance and monitoring. Embed efficiencies in every step of the function.
Partner closely with Legal, Ethics & Compliance, Internal Audit and HR departments on strategy and processes for management of HR-related enterprise risks or other employment-related regulatory and compliance matters.
A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
7 or more years of experience managing/supervising an organization/unit or possesses seven or more years project management experience.
7 or more years of HR experience driving process efficiencies and driving enterprise-wide change and transformation within HR or People-related initiatives.
5 or more years of experience in driving compliance, ethics, and/or regulatory programs at an enterprise level.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, human resources management, or relevant field of study (MBA degree or master’s degree strongly preferred)
Project Management and/or Agile Certification
Lean Six-Sigma Certification
Adept knowledge using HRIS technology.
Deep HR process knowledge and continuous improvement skills.
A knowledge or experience with General Rate Cases.
Experience leading HR Shared Services and other associated experience.
Experience designing or supporting large-scale enterprise/HR process improvements.
Experience driving transformational change projects to create value.
Must be analytical with a continuous improvement mind-set.
Additional Information
This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
