Job Description

The primary function of this position is to support the Plant Manager. Duties include general administrative and clerical tasks that may be requested by team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.

The following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

• Oversee reception area

• Mail distribution

• Enter data into computer database for review by management

• Reconcile daily production reports with adjacent shifts and departments

• Generate production paperwork for production teams, keeps track of status and ensures all data is timely and accurate

• Apply knowledge of department policies and procedures and utilizes a general understanding of other departments functions

• Manage documents that are related to the production process

• Maintain required data collecting and reporting

• Assist Plant Manager in planning and performing production related activities

• Back up to the Production Scheduler

• Respond to requests from other members of the production team

• Assist with administration of temporary employees

• Assist with timekeeping duties of employees

• Will be required to perform other duties as required, directed or assigned

Hard Skills

  • Administrative experience 6+ months

  • Bilingual Spanish a plus

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Roselle, Illinois.

Work Environment

Hours: 7:30 - 4:00 Monday-Friday

Manufacturing company- Manufacture tub liners

30 people in the office

30 people in the warehouse/production

cubical style seating

Business casual dress code
