NEOMED Free Clinic Manager Position Type: Admin/Professional Department: Family & Community Medicine Full or Part Time: Part Time Pay Grade: BW10 Summary: Provide high level administrative oversight. Handle special projects for the Free Clinic and student group and requires periodic student supervision. Principal Functional Responsibilities: Clinic Operations: Manage clinic operations, inventory control, workflow processes, compliance, maintain clinic calendar, and maintenance of confidential patient records. Supervise and educate students on clinic administration. Community Outreach: Represent the department and NEOMED within and outside the university (local, regional and/or national). Participate in and coordinate patient recruitment efforts. Manage strategic relationships to support the clinic, and work with community partners, such as the Community Advisory Board, to facilitate collaborative community health initiatives. Financial Oversight: Maintain, configure and analyze confidential, information and/or reports such as: financial/academic databases, fundraising database, special correspondence, publications, student performance information, maintenance/capital improvement contracts, project status information and reports. Maintenance of Free Clinic expenditures such as: allocation of grants expenditures, allocation of funds to applicable accounts, maintenance of vendor contracts. Miscellaneous Duties: Handle special projects for the NEOMED Free Clinic. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree • Minimum 3 years related work experience in a medical setting. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database, reporting experience. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in higher education and educating medical and pharmacy students Physical Requirements: Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and other office equipment.
