EXCITING TEST ENGINEER OPENING FOR A TOP MANUFACTURER ON LONG ISLAND

Job Title: Electrical Test Engineer

Location: Long Island, New York

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and protocols for electronic components and systems.

  • Conduct functional, performance, and reliability testing on sensors, potentiometers, and other products.

  • Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to electrical performance, signal integrity, and functionality.

  • Use specialized test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and environmental chambers.

  • Analyze test data, identify trends, and recommend design improvements.

  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on testability and manufacturability.

  • Maintain accurate records of test results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

  • Support production and assist in resolving any production-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical testing, preferably in sensor or electronics manufacturing.

  • Proficiency in using test equipment and software tools.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Familiarity with MIL-STD and aerospace standards is a plus.
