Job Title: Interior Technician

Job Description

As an Interior Technician, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most sophisticated private aircraft. Your responsibilities will include the removal and installation of carpeting, seats, insulation, sound proofing, and fabric accessories. You will also be involved in parts replacement/repair, basic electrical system installations, modifications, refurbishments, and general mechanical applications on aircraft interiors. Additional duties encompass performing minor modifications on panels, seats, carpets, cabinetry, upholstery, etc., assisting in aircraft detailing and cleaning, maintaining and repairing shop facility, equipment, and tooling, and maintaining the cleanliness of the shop and surroundings. You will work independently when required and effectively communicate with the team.

Hard Skills

  • Basic carpentry or related experience with aircraft interiors

  • Ability to use common hand tools and equipment

  • Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases

Soft Skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Effective and clear communication

Work Environment

You will be working indoors in a hangar wearing a T-shirt, work pants, and boots. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position with a 1st shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 7am - 3:30pm.
