Our mission is to create state-of-the-art laboratory environments by providing innovative products and solutions tailored to support emerging and changing scientific processes and technology.Minimum Background, Experience, and Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent or Technical school diploma5 - 7 years minimum of industrial manufacturing/assembly supervisory experienceAble to read, write, and speak EnglishComputer skills; working in Microsoft Office suiteAbility to read blueprints / electrical schematics and understand assembly drawings and bill of materialsWorking knowledge and abilities to troubleshoot electro/mechanical problemsAvailable with respect to required work hours (on-call hours may apply)Reliable, good work ethic, and high integrity.Tasks / Responsibilities:Review and distribute production orders to the department in accordance with the production schedule.Coordinate and aid in the movement of component parts to/from the assembly area, and of finished parts to the next operation.Read blueprints and bill of materials to ensure assemblies are being assembled according to drawings/work orders and all quality tests are being performed.Ensure employees are scanning in and out of work orders correctly and recording accurate count of welded assemblies.Work with 2nd shift supervisor and staff to be able to produce assemblies or sub-assemblies at night in order to boost overall capacity.Communicate with Engineering/Layout/Quality when issues arise and ensure problem resolution is determined quickly to minimize impact on production.Aid in other departments as needed by supervisor.EEO STATEMENT:Lab Crafters, Inc. is an equal employment opportunity employer.
