Expeditors Warehouse Coordinator in Romulus, Michigan

To positively contribute to a team dedicated to excellence, growth and accountability through the management of documentation flow, labels, and shipments in and out of the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule container/truck deliveries with dray carrier updating the delivery schedule

  • Respond in a timely manner to pick up and delivery request from service providers

  • Ensure documentation or references are received to identify the customer being delivered or picked up

  • Work with the Container Delivery Schedule and the Distribution team to schedule accordingly

  • Driver check in process

  • Work in Proxyclick to update all reference information for each driver who checks in

  • Work with Distribution Warehouse team for door assignments

  • Update container arrival information, seal number and staging location into internal computer system (EDMS)

  • Print inbound receiving paperwork from EDMS

  • Utilize Distribution Outbound Workflow to ensure all shipments are accounted for when carrier arrives to check in

Warehouse Transportation:

  • Driver check in process

  • Work in Proxyclick and Veroot application to properly check in each driver with appropriate STA references, along with transportation references.

  • Print Driver ID to Edoc

  • Work with transportation team for door assignments

  • Transportation Warehouse Management System (TWMS)

  • Receipt creation / Pre-load TWMS scanner with receipt information.

  • Print labels for transportation freight

  • Organize transfer documentation for all loads from branch product teams.

  • Scan related shipping documentation into company document retention system (Edoc)

  • File paperwork accordingly by product

  • Complete STAT/Warehouse Inventory Report Daily

     

     

  • Education (preferred level) high school degree.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. (Outlook, Word, Excel).

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Superb interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly though written and verbal communication.

This position is located at our DTW/Detroit metro area location.
