ROUSH Prototype Project Coordinator I in Romeo, Michigan

The Prototype Project Coordinator I will assist with the planning and coordination of projects and their activities. The role will ensure implementation of processes and practices. The Prototype Project Coordinator I will maintain and track data and schedules. This position is located in Romeo, MI.

As a Prototype Project Coordinator I, you will be responsible for: 

  • Assisting with planning, scheduling, and coordinating office and shop activity and relaying customer expectations

  • Assisting in developing and executing small project plans

  • Completing milestones on time and within budget, and working with the cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables

  • Reviewing data from customers, suppliers, and creating reports

  • Coordinating assignments for subcontractors and monitoring performance of vendors

  • Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned

To be considered a Prototype Project Coordinator I, you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • No previous experience required

  • Detail oriented, effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Good customer service skills, reliable attendance and ability to work overtime

  • Ability to follow directions, learn new skills and technologies, multi-task in a fast-paced work environment

  • Ability to compile lessons learned for continuous quality development

  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)

  • Ability to travel 10% of the time 

A successful candidate may also have:

  • Associate degree in Business or related

  • Self-motivated person with Program Management experience

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work with cross functional teams

  • Ability to multi-task
