Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Rolling Meadows, Illinois

Description We are in the process of hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to be part of our Insurance-Casualty team based in ROLLING MEADOWS, Illinois. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the international operations of our organization through financial analysis and reporting. Further, the role involves providing valuable insights and recommendations to leadership to help achieve both short and long-term objectives. Collaborating with various business units such as sales, marketing, IT, and international operations will also be a key aspect of this role.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, research, and report on data related to financials and performance

• Develop monthly and ad-hoc reports while working cross-functionally across business units

• Support finance, operations, and IT in processes relating to acquisitions

• Identify and recommend solutions to leadership to improve results

• Facilitate in the growth and development of less experienced staff in the division

• Leverage skills in Mergers & Acquisitions, Audit, and Public Accounting to enhance operational effectiveness and strategic decision making

• Ensure compliance with audit - financial and audit - operational standards. Requirements • Demonstrable experience in the Insurance - Casualty industry.

• Previous job role as a Sr. Financial Analyst or similar is preferred.

• Proficient in Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) and Mergers - Acquisitions - Divestitures.

• Experience in Public Accounting is required.

• Knowledge and experience in Audit, Audit - Financial and Audit - Operational.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.

• Relevant certifications such as CPA, CFA, or similar will be an advantage.

• Proven track record of improving processes and providing consistent financial forecasting.

• Understanding of financial trends and market behavior within the insurance industry.

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
