Field Service Technician – Rogers, AR

At Heubel Shaw, our technicians are the heart and soul of our company. We are looking for a Field Service Technician to support forklifts, pallet jacks, and racking systems within our customer distribution center locations.

*This is a full time, hourly position. Some overtime may be required based on customer demands. 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, service, and support material handling equipment, systems and products at the customer location in a timely and cost-effective manner so that all requirements are met.

  • Diagnose, trouble-shoot, and repair forklifts and other equipment in accordance with established guidelines and procedures; ensuring that positive relationships are established.

  • Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment according to established procedures and cost guidelines at customer’s facility.

  • Complete all required paperwork and time records accurately and completely follow Mobile Tech Procedures as directed by management.           

  • Account for all parts, materials, tools, and consumables used as required.

  • Drive and work safely in accordance with company and/or customer safety policies and procedures.

  • Develop and maintain positive, effective working relationships with customers and co-workers.

  • Maintain the van’s interior equipment, storage devices, service manuals and related documents.

  • Attend meetings, training classes and other company activities as required.

  • Keep an adequate set of personal tools as required by the position.

  • Work with all departments and employees to ensure high quality customer service.

Ideal candidate will possess:

-Strong mechanical aptitude & ability; basic knowledge of industrial electricity

-Ability to read schematics, diagrams, operation manuals, manufacturer’s specifications

-Experience within the industrial maintenance, automotive, heavy equipment industries

Minimum Qualifications:

-HS Diploma or GED

-At least two (2) years of hands-on technical experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical components

-Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs

-Must be able to climb ladders and/or work on elevated platforms that may be 15’ to 30’ in height
