Robert Half Manager of Financial Reporting in Rogers, Arkansas
Description
We are in search of a Manager of Financial Reporting to join our team in Rogers, Arkansas. This role is integral to our business operations, involving the management and execution of financial reporting in line with Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) standards. The successful candidate will also be responsible for reviewing and filing all income and sales tax returns at federal, state, and local levels. This is a pivotal role within our team that requires a keen eye for detail, robust knowledge of accounting systems, and a proactive approach to maintaining our company's financial integrity.
The salary range will be $85,000 - $95,000 DOE along with a clear growth path and strong benefits!

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and file quarterly and annual filings under SEC regulations (Form 10-Qs/10-Ks).
• Assist in meeting all other SEC reporting requirements (Form 8-Ks, etc.).
• Draft and prepare materials for earnings releases (conference call script, press release, and investor presentation).
• Conduct research on accounting and reporting matters to ensure GAAP compliance.
• Oversee all external audits on sales taxes, income taxes, and 401(k) plan.
• Maintain and report on sales tax for dealerships.
• Manage income tax reporting, research, and tax returns.
• Review and monitor internal controls, including Internal Audit review.
• Monitor sales contracts to ensure proper add-ons and sales taxes are applied.
• Liaise with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with BlackLine and EPS
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to manage Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Knowledge of Auditing practices
• Experience with Balance Sheet Account management
• Familiarity with Budget Processes
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle pressure
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• Relevant certification such as CPA is preferred
• Proven work experience in a similar role.
