Summary:
Help execute assigned electrical responsibilities encompassing general maintenance, preventive maintenance, construction, repair, and installation of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment. Installs, repairs, maintains, and inspects electrical systems and equipment such as motors, light fixtures, transformers, generators, wiring, switchboards, alarm systems (preferred not required), controllers, circuit breakers, and medium voltage transmission equipment, works from prints and specifications, makes as needed working drawings, single line power diagrams, locates, and diagnoses electrical malfunctions using various test instruments.
Learn layout in wiring of new or remodeled installations; makes standard computations related to load requirements, designs control wiring for equipment, and plan ahead.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Follow all Nabholz and job specific safety procedures. Comply with 0 incident initiative.
Perform all miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Demonstrate willingness to comprehend and follow instructions given by qualified electrical peers.
Ensure scheduled inspection timetables are met and standards are maintained.
Record field wiring changes and modifications on blueprints for recording.
Accurate daily log keeping.
May operate hand and power tools of all types for not only Electrical related but also the construction type.
May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, and clean up rubble and debris.
May assist other craft workers.
Keeps clean and maintains company equipment and tools.
Performs additional duties or emergency duties after normal work hours when requested by supervision or designee.
Ability to do some travel.
This job is safety sensitive for medical marijuana purposes.
This position requires driving a personal vehicle on behalf of the company or a company vehicle; therefore, the applicant must successfully complete a motor vehicle records check, possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in their state of residence, and immediately self-report convictions/violations/tickets to the DOT Compliance Specialist as per Company Policy. Any negative change in the status of the employee’s driving record may result in the revocation of the employee’s privilege to drive for the company.

Education/Skill Requirements :
Working to develop your understanding and working knowledge of the current National Electrical Code, National Fire Alarm Code, and all State and local codes is required.
Minimum Electrical experience required (non-journeyman) 2-6 years’ experience preferred but not required. (commercial)
Ability to understand, interpret and utilize prints, wiring diagrams, and schematics is a plus.
Ability and understanding of hand tools/power tools.
Locate and diagnose electrical malfunctions using various test instruments.
Operate a variety of power tools, shop equipment, and electrical testing instruments are required.
Must have the ability and willingness to learn/help and or perform duties normally associated with other trade areas, carpentry, maintenance and construction of commercial buildings, churches, factories, office buildings, buildings, etc.
Form, place, help install concrete as pertains to electrical.
Maintain shop equipment and tools as pertains to daily needs.
Physical Demands :
Ability to continuously sit, stand, or walk.
Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift frequently.
Ability to be self-motivated.
Ability to jump between service projects and construction projects.
May lift and carry heavy objects 5 -25 pounds frequently, 25- 50 pounds often, 50-100 pounds occasionally.
Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in awkward positions continuously.
Work environment:
Skilled Laborers often work at great heights, or outdoors in all weather conditions.
Some jobs expose workers to harmful materials or chemicals, fumes, odors, loud noise, or dangerous machinery.
To avoid injury, workers wear safety clothing, such as gloves, high-viz, hardhats, protective suits, eye protection, and hearing protection. (Nabholz Provided)
While working in construction, laborers must be especially alert to safely follow procedures and must deal with a variety of hazards.
