As a member of the Real-Time Pricing Team at Uber Freight, you will be responsible for providing timely spot pricing rates to a variety of Enterprise and Mid-Market customers, with the goal of maximizing the freight win rate on a daily basis by delivering value to shippers. You will work closely with other members of the Real-time & Contract Pricing Teams, Customer Sales, Account Management, Data-science, and Carrier Sales teams.

What You\'ll Do

• Create and submit real-time spot market pricing to Mid-Market and Enterprise customers through web portals, API connections, email, and other communication channels.

• Enhance Uber Freight\'s shipper knowledge by mastering customer networks, understanding price points, identifying opportunities, and providing timely communication.

• Maintain a constant awareness of US freight market conditions and advise other Uber Freight team members on changes, trends, and insights noticed in the Spot Market.

  Develop direct customer relationships, when appropriate, to help grow existing Uber Freight accounts.

• Pursue spot freight opportunities that help Uber Freight achieve its volume and margin OKRs.

• Utilize internal and external pricing tools and databases to inform your spot pricing decisions.

• Take appropriate risks, be creative, go the extra mile for customers, and be tenacious every day.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in freight pricing, customer or carrier sales, account management, or relevant pricing experience
• Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL is a plus, but not required
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Proficiency in common analytics and reporting tools (Tableau, Google Data Studio, Google Data Studio, Looker)
