Welder Location: Wofford Welding Inc, Roebuck SC Full-time Salary $17.00-$25.00 per hour depending on experience.

Wofford Welding is seeking a skilled and expreienced Welder to join our team. The Welder will be responsibile for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and equipment using welding techniques and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding safety practices, blueprints, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities: Perform welding operations using various welding precesses (e.g. MIG, TIG, Stick) on a variety of metals including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. Mostly MIG welding on current project. Read and interpret blueprints and detailed drawings to determine specifications and ensure accuracy. Inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws and recommend necessary repairs. Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently. Maintain welding equipment in good working condition. Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion within deadlines. Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications: Proven experience as a Welder in a manufacturing or construction environment. Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. Knowledge of welding safety practes and procedures. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina and strength to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
