Job Description:

• Develop microservices on Akka HTTP platform using functional programming concepts and established best practices

• Interpret customer requirements and collaborate with a team to determine functional solutions for support requests

• Implement solutions from front-end customer interface to back-end interactions

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of relational databases for writing of stored procedures, use of triggers, and ad-hoc reporting queries

• Competent working in both Windows and Linux environments

• Manage small projects from inception to deployment with minimal oversight

• Ability to obtain a US security clearance is preferred but not a requirement

  Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent

• 4+ years Scala/Java (or any functional or object-oriented language)

• 4+ years Postgres, MS SQL, or other RDBMS

• 2+ years HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  Preferred Additional Skills:

• 2+ years in a Linux environment

• Docker

• AWS (or similar cloud experience)

• Kubernetes

• Jenkins
