Northramp is looking for smart, personable, and creative individuals interested in helping grow something truly unique in our markets. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and experience in web application development using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML. As a Northramp senior consultant you will be responsible for mentoring and developing junior staff, delivering quality services to our clients and expanding work under existing contracts.

We are currently looking for a ServiceNow Developer who will:

  • Perform day-to-day support and maintenance, work with the functional team to develop solutions in ServiceNow and coordinate support and development efforts within the admin team.

  • Provide general support, administration and maintenance of ServiceNow platform and associated applications

  • Work closely with ServiceNow functional team to build requested items and tasks using workflows to manage processes from the customer to the fulfillment teams.

  • Configure and improve core and custom applications by working closely with ServiceNow functional team

  • Work directly with end users to resolve support issues within ServiceNow

  • Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications

  • Develop systems integrations and process automation

  • Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each of the above

  • Create and configure Notifications, UI pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc. in ServiceNow

  • Configure and manage Discovery

  • Lead team in application and platform upgrades

  • Load, manipulate and maintain data between Service-now and other systems

  • Create ServiceNow reports and dashboards

Additionally, the ideal candidate can:

  • Work independently, be a self-starter, and able to operate in a proactive way

  • Deliver excellent oral and written communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills; logical thinker and intellectual curiosity

Required Qualifications

  • US Citizenship

  • Ability to pass a federal background check successfully and maintain eligibility for continued access authorizations, including periodic drug screenings, granted by such a successful background check

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 3-5 years of ServiceNow development experience

  • Strong JavaScript, XML, and HTML skills and familiarity with LDAP, MS Active Directory and ADFS

  • Proven experience implementing and customizing a web architected, n-tiered enterprise application

  • Proven experience implementing integrations of enterprise software systems

  • Experience creating ServiceNow update sets, promoting and testing through multiple instances and into production

  • Must be technically savvy and able to design and build applications that meet business goals and objectives

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for the intended audience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the government sector (local, state, or federal)

  • ServiceNow System Administrator / Developer certifications

  • Experience configuring ServiceNow Discovery

  • Strong knowledge and familiarity with ITSM processes

  • ITIL V4 Foundation Certification
