At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Infrastructure and Security Automations Engineer, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on this role to maintain HRSA's Hosting, Network, Security, Server, Identity and Access Management, and Tier II Operations in support of the HRSA mission.

· 24x7x365 infrastructure operations support serving in on-call rotation

· Hybrid Environment (Azure and on-prem) / Experience in Azure required

· Working within team for successful completion of all tasks within the Statement of Work for assigned area of responsibility. That includes: Network, Security, DNS, DHCP, VOIP, Identity and Access Management, and Server Operations.

· Will review monitoring tools to identify trends and proactive identification of potential customer impacting events.

· Recommending changes to processes or procedures to improve efficiency or reduce costs in future projects.

· Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software with IT infrastructure.  

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Sr. Computer Security Specialist

· Bachelor’s degree in related field. Four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.

· 10+ years of related experience

· 6+ years of experience working in a Hybrid (Azure/On-Prem) Application hosting environment technologies such as:

· Infrastructure and Security Automation

· Security Compliance

· DNS

· Active Directory

· Ansible

· Red Hat/Linux

· IPAM

· NIST 800-53

· CIS Benchmarks

· Demonstrated ability to support a 24x7x365 environment and work in on-call rotation with ability to respond to Rockville or Sterling Data Center

Desired skills:

· Nesus

Clearance:

Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting.
