Northwest Farm Credit Services Real Estate and Mapping Specialist in Rocklin, California

We serve customers in 59 locations throughout the West. We are in search of a Real Estate and Mapping Specialist l, ll, or lll to join our Appraisal department in Rocklin, California. This full-time position reports to the Director of Appraisal and assists the Appraisal team by obtaining, organizing, and communicating appraisal, valuation, and property sales information, Provides general administrative support and customer service for Appraisal Services team. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule and one-time home office stipend after initial training period. Compensation Information The base salary range for this position in Rocklin, California is: Level I: $44,000 - $63,0000; bonus at target is 6% of salary Level II: $48,000 - $72,0000; bonus at target is 6% of salary Level III: $53,000 - $79,0000; bonus at target is 6% of salary Job Requirements Use various software applications to verify accuracy of a variety of types of legal descriptions. Monitor, collect, and verify real estate property data, sales, and market information to support appraisal, valuation, and data analysis functions. Gather documents from various sources to support the appraisal process. Assist in the completion of appraisal activities by platting legal descriptions, verifying legal descriptions, water rights and property access. Collect, prepare, and enter data into appraisal, geographic information, and sales data systems. Act as liaison between the appraisal department, lending staff and various third party vendors. Perform administrative and complex tasks for appraisal staff, such as preparing and verifying spreadsheets, documents, and files. Vet appraisal requests for compliance to establish procedures and communicating next steps with interested parties. Review completed reports according to established procedures and communicating next steps with interested parties. Create and review reports for internal staff members. Gather, analyze and report information on multiple agricultural related topics, including irrigation supply, commodity pricing and real estate market trends. Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Professional experience in real estate, title policies, and reviewing property legal descriptions for accuracy can be substituted for education. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to effectively function independently and as a part of a group. Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and varied workload, with a variety of concurrent and shifting priorities. Able to recognize potential problems and solve or escalate accordingly. Demonstrated organizational and follow-through skills. Computer proficiency, including the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel. Preferred Requirements Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred.
