Lisa Cole with Robert Half is partnering with a stable and growing company that is seeking an experienced Director of Accounting and Finance to lead accounting, financial management, strategic planning, and risk assessment for a growing organization.

This leadership role will oversee budgeting, financial reporting, capital planning, cash management, and compliance while working closely with executive leadership and external auditors. Please call Lisa Cole with Robert Half 916-649-0832.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for executive leadership and the Board.

• Oversee capital investment decisions, lease/buy evaluations, and financial health monitoring.

• Lead financial reporting, including period-end close, external audits, and tax activities.

• Manage cash flow, intercompany transactions, and working capital to optimize financial performance.

• Supervise vendor payments, contracts, and financial compliance, ensuring best practices.

• Oversee project profitability, incentive programs, union reporting, and prevailing wage compliance.

• Develop risk mitigation strategies, oversee insurance renewals, and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Maintain strong banking relationships, oversee borrowing strategies, and manage financial transactions.

• Ensure compliance with taxation and external reporting requirements, including payroll tax returns and 401(k) audits.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in financial leadership, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or related industries.

• Strong expertise in GAAP, financial planning, and risk management.

• Ability to lead financial strategy, cash management, and process improvements.

• Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting software, and data-driven decision-making.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with executives, project managers, and stakeholders.
