Health First Donor Relations Coordinator - Health First Foundation, Inc. in Rockledge, Florida

POSITION SUMMARY
Acknowledge and celebrate the impact of donor support through best practice acknowledgement, stewardship, and recognition activities; engage donors and prospective donors in philanthropic opportunities through support of sustained giving initiatives, including direct mail, grateful patient, Giving Tuesday and Associate Month of Giving; support Foundation programs and events.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITES
1. Implement donor recognition and appreciation initiatives in collaboration with Manager of Donor Relations and Stewardship.
2. Identify potential stewardship and recognition opportunities that create a meaningful donor experience and increase donor retention.
3. Coordinate Grateful Patient and Families Program including pin presentations to honored associates and providers across IDN.
4. Engage with donors to convey appreciation for support, learn about donors’ experiences at Health First and understand philanthropic priorities. This may occur through phone calls, written notes or email communication.
5. Write and update donor acknowledgement letters and other communications to detail impact of philanthropy. This may include stewardship emails, newsletter articles or impact videos. Coordinate mailing of birthday, sympathy, and holiday cards, as appropriate.
6. Update and maintain donor recognition lists and physical recognition walls per department schedule.
7. Participate in periodic responsibility for Donor Relations care coordination line (24/7)
8. Provide support to Program and Event Specialist, for internal and external events as needed.
9. Serve as back-up/support in processing of gifts.
10. Log all donor contacts and update donor records as appropriate in Foundation donor database.
11. Work collaboratively with other departments in IDN to provide a positive customer/patient/donor experience.
12. Adhere to all Foundation policies and procedures. Actively participate in maintaining and promoting positive team culture within department.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Education: Associate Degree or other post-secondary education in related field; or in lieu of degree will accept work experience stated within.
• Work Experience: Two years’ experience in customer-facing role.
• Licensure: None required
• Certification: None required
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Microsoft Office products and software related to function

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Non-Profit, Communications, Marketing, or related field
• Work Experience: Prior fundraising, donor relations, business development experience
• Licensure: None required
• Certification: CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive)
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM
• Donor portfolio management
• Grateful Patient program

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (ADA, Travel, Environment, Noise)
• Majority of time involves sitting or standing; occasional walking, bending, stooping
• Long periods of computer time or at workstation
• Light work that may include lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds with or without assistance.
• May be exposed to inside environments with varied temperatures, air quality, lighting and/or low to moderate noise
• Communicating with others to exchange information.
• Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks
• Workspace may vary from open to confined, on site or remote
• May require travel to various facilities within and beyond county perimeter; may require use of personal vehicle
